Along with the five basic elements; wood, water, fire, metal, and earth Feng Shui is related to Chinese astrology in that it deals with calendar cycles and energy directions.chinese astrology dates Chinese elements do not refer exclusively to matter but rather to subtle basic forms of changing energy. A productive and destructive cycle also governs each element, so that any element in consideration will always be in a process of change somewhere on an eternal cycle of positive/negative, male/female energy.
Each element has certain color associations, and these colors can be used in the home to strengthen the influence of that specific element. The colors green and brown relates to wood. Colors like red, orange, purple and strong yellow are all related to fire. Light yellow, tan, and light brown is corresponded by Earth.
Metal corresponds to white and gray. Water corresponds to blue and black. Your energy map, or “bagua” (literal Chinese meaning “eight symbols”), ultimately affects how you place elemental colors in your house. Health and family well-being may be encouraged by using green in the eastern part of the home. In the North area, blue is frequently used as a source to strengthen employment plans. Creative endeavors are supported by pure white in the West. The south area uses yellow to promote sociability and friendly gatherings. Nothing is easily achieved. Feng Shui for example is very very complex. But if one can master the directions and points and elements, one can see for himself or herself that color can give peace, happiness calmness and balance of mind.

Become More Aware in Sleep with Galantamine Lucid Dreaming

How many times have I heard that there’s no magic pill to greater awareness? Well, I may have to eat crow because I have discovered a natural brain supplement that does just that. I am talking about galantamine, and its proven power to stimulate your lucid dreams. Lucid dreams can be defined simply as dreams that you know you are aware and still safely confined in the sleep state. This is a unique frame of mind that can provide some amazing experiences for advanced dreamers.
In the old days, to learn lucid dreaming you have to develop your dream recall to a high degree, work on your memory to incubate a lucid dream, and learn to recognize signs that you are dreaming. Taking a lucid dreaming pill alone is worthless without mind training, but if you are practicing these skills and taking galantamine, the chance of success practically triples. Why does galantamine lucid dreaming work? Galantamine slows the absorption of an important neurotransmitter called acetylcholine. This improves the quality of REM sleep which is when most dreams occur. This affect has also been linked with improved memory and concentration in studies of people suffering from alzheimers. Add some choline – which is an amino acid that promotes the production of acetylcholine – and this natural supplement will greatly improve your chance of realizing “Hey, this is a dream!” Believe it or not, galantamine’s effects may even be more effective when paired with some caffeine. Caffeine reduces deep sleep, but not REM sleep. So with this combination there are more dream moments to become lucid in the first place.
Beware: if this is new to you, start with small doses. I encourage people to also ground their lucid dream practices with breathwork and physical exercise. Lightly tampering with brain chemistry at this level is harmless, but some people have experienced paranoia with too much galatamine in their system. If you are careful and respectful of your body and your sleep, you will be rewarded.

Time Management for the Busybody

Everybody requires an organized schedule in order to survive a presumably chaotic day. Time management is an important aspect of any job and even at home. If you don’t have the proper schedule for the day or week, you’ll find yourself stressed out and unable to properly relax. Managing your time properly is very beneficial for somebody who is always on the go. Let’s look at some of the things you can do in order to completely optimize your time.
Create a To-Do List
To-do lists are a great way to organize your schedule. But remember that listing all the things you need to do is never enough. You also have to prioritize and list them according to importance. Remember to list your duties according to: the things you must do that are important, the things you can do that are not important, and the things you can’t do that are important.
This way, you would have a general idea about those tasks you can do later and others that you can accomplish now. This would also provide you the time to procrastinate, which you can use later to relax.
Always Keep a Watch
If you are a person who is always on the go, always bring a watch with you. Keeping track of your time is important when you are busy. This way, you would neither waste nor lose time. Also in your home, try to put a regular or decorative wall clock in the living room. Make sure that the clock is placed somewhere it could be easily noticed.
There are also many collectible mantel clocks, which you can place on top of the fireplace and any empty shelf or bookcases around the house. Doing this can generally help you keep track of your time. Just make sure that you set the time right.
Multi-Task
Multi-tasking is a popular technique in managing your time. This can also affect your to-do list. Try to look for several things that you do at the same time but remember not to do two big tasks at the same time. Instead, pick one big and one small or two small tasks. Also, make sure that you can concentrate on your tasks. If you think that the tasks are too big for you or too many, don’t risk being stressed out. Remember to do everything at your own pace.
Online Reminder Services
Nowadays, there are services that can remind you of the important things you need to do and some of them are even free! Online reminder services are popular. All you have to do is to sign up for a free account and start setting dates for your important activities. When one of your activities is about to happen, the website will automatically notify you through your email.
Of course, make sure that your email program has a built-in alarm and reminder settings. This way, it can buzz you when something important needs to be taken care of. Now, you don’t have to rely on your trusty nautical table clocks or other alarm clocks to remind you of anything, everything is right there in your computer.
