More and more people are suffering anxiety and depression. In fact over half of individuals with an anxiety disorder suffer from depression. Many of us know how it feels to be depressed and anxious. Losing a job, breaking up from a relationship; these are such times.

The first thing to do, however, before doing the spread is to shuffle the cards. Now, shuffling the cards also has different styles to it but for now, a simple shuffle would suffice. Most tarot experts believe that this action is where the subject gets to touch the deck is also when the energy gets transferred to the tarot so its reading will become subject specific. This, in turn, allows the deck to understand the subject as an individual and effectively provide answers for them in particular. After shuffling the tarot deck, you can proceed to pull out the cards individually and begin the spread. The most common spread is called the Celtic Cross. The world has become so fast-paced that people no longer even say hello or hi to each other. I realized that I have started becoming more grouchy and irritable because everyone does not seem to pay attention tome. I discovered that kindness can come in quite handy, especially when you’re all alone and looking for good people to help. Start spreading the deed and see how much better the world can be.

The feelings created from your thoughts are very important as well. In fact your feelings help make up your belief , so it is important to watch to see if you have any feelings of fear, disbelief or resistance that your dreams would indeed manifest. If you have, just try to release them in the full knowledge that your subconscious has the power to manifest your dreams. Berried feelings never die, they resurface at a later date as many of the illnesses and diseases that we have to face. Whatever we choose to focus our attention on would automatically manifest in our lives. If our attention is on our troubles or the injustices of the past they would become the trials of the present also. Why not put the focus of your attention on whatever good you want to come into your life, whether it be God, love, the right partner, health or wealth, and sit back and witness how you attract it into your life. However, you must pay attention as the Universe provides the opportunities for you to grasp, and do what’s necessary. For example, if you want the correct partner to come into your life, you can’t just sit at home and expect a person to walk into your home, although it has been known to happen. You would have to follow your inner nudges or intuition to do certain things at certain times. You may be guided to go to the park at a certain time, or take a trip in a certain season. Learn to listen to that inner voice. Just make sure that you truly want what it is you say you desire, you truly believe that you would receive, you act as though you have it already, and wait for the Universe to manifest your dreams.

I was asked recently by someone posting on my self motivational blog what were the best self motivational books I have read. Although there are several thousand self motivational books published each year I have come to the conclusion that there is very little that can be added to the many words of self motivational wisdom that have been written over the last century and a half. From the early pioneers like Napoleon Hill to today’s monumental giants like Tony Robbins. It was said, I think by the latter of these two gurus, that we arrive on this planet without an instruction manual. I think for that reason alone there is not just a thirst for knowledge but a greater need for a guide to how to survive life which drives the market for self motivational books. You don’t need to have suffered a deep psychological trauma to want to invest in one of these guides. But for those who say you can’t deal with serious issues like depression then I disagree. Where my own doctor and a clinical psychologist were unable to help me a number of the books on my all time classic list gave me the support to get my life back on track. However its not reading self motivational books that gets results its taking action on the advice that is given therein. So my advice is read a small amount of self motivational books but take a lot of action if you want to significantly improve your life.
Can self motivational books bring happiness? Now there is a million dollar question! Depends on your definition of happiness of course. Many people would define it as achieving a certain amount of wealth. However as many wealthy people often say the wealth in and of itself doesn’t bring happiness. In addition have you ever noticed that wealthy people never seem satisfied with what they have got and continually seek to make more and more money. The truth is that happiness is not a destination it is more likely to be a state of continually striving to achieve goals, achieving them and setting more goals to strive to achieve. If thats your definition then I think self motivational books will help you and my list of all time classics have certainly helped me in that respect. There are many out there who will disagree with my choice of self motivational books and have their own favourites all I can say to them is that these are the ones that gave me the focus and the necessary poke in the ribs to take action and I still revisit them for ideas.

Sometimes things happen and we are not very sure how to deal with them. One of these things may be that we are going through a personal problem like a divorce. This is a time when there are so many emotions going on and you are not sure what is going on in some cases.  There are many feelings that you may be hiding deep inside and you are looking for a way to release them.  When this is the problem, you may want to consider writing a journal to take care of the issues. 

You can build a new life for yourself if you are able to write down your feelings and things that you would normally keep to yourself.  These things will include the daily reminders that you have to endure and how they make you feel. You may want to include what you are going to do in order to make these reminders seem a little bit easier to cope with.  You will be surprised at how writing it down on paper can help the situation a little more.

A journal is also something that you can use to comfort your feelings when you are ashamed to do so any other way. You may want to make sure that you are including everything that has happened since your divorce started. You can make sure that you are keeping track of the daily things that make you sad or things that you do to make yourself feel better.  As you are writing you will see that your true emotions are coming out and that you are finally able to make some head way on rebuilding your life for the better.

You can write in your journal anytime that you want and make the most of it. You will find that when you are expressing your feelings on paper you will be more able to find out how you are really feeling.  You will be able to look back on your journal and see what you are going through and how you are coping with the changes that are being made in your life. 

When you are writing a journal it is important to be honest. You do not want to write anything that is not true. After all this is something that you are using to let your true feelings come out.  This is a way for you to express who you are and what your intentions are. You want to make sure that you are keeping this journal in a safe place so that no one else will be able to get your private thoughts. You do not want others to know how your personal feelings are affecting you in some circumstances.

A journal can help to make you feel more confident in the way that you are feeling. You will want to make sure that you are using this journal to make your divorce go better. You will be able to look back on your journal and see how much you have improved over time. When you are continuing to write in the journal all the time and every time you want to express a certain feeling.  You will be able to see the progress that you have made so that you can see how much better off you are now that the divorce is over with. You will see the beginning and everything in between on your wild and amazing journey that you have been taking.

You can make a journal for anything that you want and it is a good method of counseling for anyone that is going through something in his or her life that is difficult.
