Say Goodbye To Meat Several Times A Week And Save Money

Meat at every meal has become somewhat of a luxury in a lot of homes. We certainly can’t afford to load up our grocery cart in the meat department. Now, we have only three nights a week with meat as a main course. My family, especially my husband, found this a little disheartening at first. But, with some inventive frugal recipes to work with, I’m on my way to putting smiles back on their faces. I’ve also taken some meat-based main dishes and simply cut the amount of meat called for in the recipe in half. This works well with any meat sauce for pasta, any soups, and most casserole dishes. You might want to give this a try before you try a totally meatless meal. And you’ll find that even your staunchest meat-eater will be won over to meat-less cooking when you tell them how much money you saved.
